Join us as we look back on the highlights of the last 10 years at MobileThinking.

In 2022, our crew faced challenges, but also seized great opportunities. Get ready to discover how we've broadened our horizons and strengthened our ties with our partners, because the adventure has only just begun!

New faces and departures 🚢

There's movement on the MobileThinking ship again this year!

New members are joining the crew : Nathan and Safia are embarking on their internship as part of their Bachelor's degree in Web and Application Development at CREA, and we're delighted to welcome them on board!

Jules and Luka, who are following the same programme, are completing their internships and are on the right track for the rest of their studies, with great prospects ahead of them.

2022 also marks the departure of two of our valued collaborators: Hassan and Dejan. The team is grateful to have had them with us and has enjoyed every moment in their company. We wish them every success in their new adventures and hope that our paths will cross again!

The projects and events that marked 2022

École Moser - Intranet

Remember, in 2018 MobileThinking developed a family portal for École Moser.

Remember, in 2018 MobileThinking developed a family portal for Moser School. We were then asked to completely rethink the school's intranet. The latter allows everyone involved in the school to manage administrative tasks, track student information, and facilitate the management of absences and school reports.

Each user, whether teacher, student or administrative staff, has access to functions tailored to their role. Teachers can manage homework and assessments, while pupils can consult their timetable and keep track of their grades.

This intranet is constantly being improved thanks to feedback from users, and is currently used by all the school's staff.

Dreamscape

In July 2022, Dreamscape Immersive opened its first centre in Europe at the Confédération Centre in Geneva.

MobileThinking collaborated on the creation of the dreamscapegeneva.com website, facilitating ticketing with WordPress. We also designed three dynamic screens to inform visitors about sessions and check-in.

Centre des Logopédistes Indépendants de Genève - Clic’Logo

The Centre des Logopédistes Indépendants de Genève (CLIGe) wanted to create a platform enabling patients to request consultations by filling in a form detailing their symptoms. MobileThinking responded by defining the essential functionalities and developing a user-friendly, fast and secure platform. We began by developing graphic mock-ups to clarify CLIGe's expectations and ensure that the final product met their needs. For development, we used Inertia.js, PHP 8 with Laravel 9 for the back-end, and Vue.js 3 with Tailwind for the front-end, delivering a fluid experience with no page reloads. A year after its launch, Clic'Logo has been a great success, with over a thousand requests for consultation, and new features are regularly added to improve the way requests are managed by speech therapists.

BenefitMe

The BenefitMe project continues to evolve and move forward. V1 of the platform is now finalised and in production.

Goodbye Avenue H2020, Project Ultimo takes over !

Last plenary meeting

But before we say goodbye to Avenue H2020, let's take a look back at the ninth plenary meeting of this exciting project!

This time, the meeting took place in Geneva and was attended by Kevin and Dejan. This meeting had a special flavour, as it marked the return to face-to-face meetings after two years of videoconferences.

The ‘Passenger Security Dashboard’ service, which enables public transport managers to analyse data inside vehicles using an artificial intelligence algorithm, was demonstrated here. The meeting went well, and enabled the final stage of the project to be prepared.

Final review 👋

In November, the final review of the H2020 AVENUE project, supported by CINEA, took place. MobileThinking, represented by Kevin Salvi, presented its contribution and the significant advances made by the project in the field of autonomous vehicles.

With four years' experience behind us, we firmly believe that autonomous vehicles will play a key role in our future.

Hello Ultimo ✌️

Let's not forget that the end of one adventure often signals the beginning of a new one!

So it was a logical decision for MobileThinking to become involved in the ULTIMO project, which will run for four years with a consortium of 22 European partners!

The ULTIMO project aims to lay the foundations for the large-scale deployment of cost-effective automated public transport (APT) services. It seeks to integrate automated vehicles into cities by offering on-demand and door-to-door services, to promote sustainable, accessible and inclusive mobility.

Eh bien, c’est là-bas que l'équipe s’est rendue pour vivre une expérience immersive dans le cadre de la fameuse journée de teambuilding annuelle !
