Pulse Dashboard in Ispra, Italy

We are proud to announce that our colleague Mattia is representing MobileThinking at EUCAD2025 (European Conference on Connected and Automated Driving), taking place this year in Ispra, Italy.

He is presenting the Pulse Dashboard, a solution developed by MobileThinking as part of the ULTIMO project, which aims to scale up autonomous mobility across Europe.

What is the Pulse Dashboard?
The Pulse Dashboard is a platform designed to allow Public Transport Operators (PTOs) to remotely monitor a fleet of autonomous vehicles in real time. In a context where vehicles operate without drivers, this solution plays a crucial role: it aims to reproduce, from a distance, the human oversight typically provided by a bus driver.

With the Pulse Dashboard, PTOs can:

  • Monitor the status of each vehicle in real time Receive alerts in the event of incidents (accidents, a passenger falling, overcrowding, etc.)
  • Take swift action to ensure passenger safety and comfort
  • Access consolidated data for performance analysis
  • Enable live video communication between passengers and the control center in case of need or emergency
Because a bus driver does much more than just drive — they also ensure the comfort and safety of passengers. The Pulse Dashboard is designed to bring this human presence into the world of driverless public transport.  
Mattia’s participation in EUCAD2025 highlights our commitment to developing practical tools that support the transition toward safe, efficient, and human-centered autonomous mobility.
