ULTIMO Project
Meeting in Oslo

05/06/2024
Every 6 months, as part of the projet ULTIMO, the 23 partners in the consortium meet to review and discuss the progress of the project.

In April 2024, this meeting was held in Oslo, bringing together more than 40 people.

With a fully packed agenda, our team and the project partners met for 3 days to evaluate the situation, prepare the actions to be taken in the future and prepare what is known as the mid-term review. This took place 2 weeks later in Brussels. The aim of the mid-term review is to review all the progress made at the half-way stage. This is crucial for the project, as the European Commission's Project Officer decides at this point whether the project is on the right track or whether it should be stopped altogether (spoiler alert: the midterm review went well!).

We had the opportunity to take part in several activities proposed by Ruter (one of the partners) who were our hosts during our stay in Oslo.

These included :

Teambuilding in the form of a ‘treasure hunt’ with several missions and enigmas to solve in order to achieve a specific objective.

The discovery of autonomous vehicles and their different itineraries, and we also visited the vehicle warehouses.

Our impressions

Our most memorable aspect of this visit was the collaboration with the 4 technology partners (Capgemini, Certh, Padam and TPG), which exceeded our expectations. The work carried out with their help formed an excellent basis for the rest of the project. Of course, we were also able to establish together the steps to be taken in the years to come. Here's a short video showing the intervention process we're working on :
The ULTIMO project is making good progress and is well on track. We're very pleased with the direction it's taking and are more than motivated to achieve the goals we've set!
