The third challenge of our eco-design hackathon was to rethink the foundations of our digital services. With Vincent and Mipam in control, we explored a less visible but equally strategic lever : technical architecture. Infrastructure, databases, orchestration, storage, protocols... everything was carefully examined to improve design from the very start, reduce invisible excesses, and combine performance with responsibility.
The second challenge of our eco-design hackathon was to better distribute processing between the front and back ends. Fabien and Jody tackled an invisible but essential mechanism : the calculations behind each user action. The goal was to avoid unnecessary processing, reduce data transfers, and lighten API responses, while maintaining the same quality of experience.
