We are thrilled to announce that Avenue Project has reached a great milestone!
On June 3, 2020, our partner TPG Public Transport of Geneva received formal authorization from the Secretary-General of the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (DETEC) of Geneva to operate autonomous shuttles on the Belle-Idée hospital site.
Initially, two NAVYA Group Autonom shuttles will be put into service on the Belle-Idée site.
TPG expects to manage to engage the shuttles on the whole road network within Belle-Idée by end of August, by piloting a new type of #ondemandservice without imposing fixed routes and stops.
